World Economic Forum | Davos 2020

Daphna Nissenbaum will join world leaders in Davos at the World Economic Forum from January 20th until January 24th as a 2019 Technology Pioneer where she will be speaking at Innovation for Impact: Reducing Waste through Compostable Packaging and joining a panel on Solving the Plastics Puzzle. In a context where it is now more cost effective to discard plastics in nature than to manage them effectively until their end of life, and where existing initiatives to tackle plastics pollution appear insufficient, Daphna aims to join leaders to help explore the latest policy, market and technological innovations that can help stem the tide of plastics, and to broaden membership of the Global Plastics Action Partnership (GPAP).
